Anthony "Tony" Elliot Marcum

Anthony Elliot “Tony” Marcum, 35, of Williamson, WV passed away Monday; February 23, 2025 in the Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center Emergency Room in South Williamson, KY.  Born November 19, 1990 in Williamson, WV, he was the son of Dewey and Misty Phillips Marcum of Williamson, WV.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Willie and Mary Marcum; his maternal grandfather, Roger Phillips; and a cousin, Steven Ward. 

Tony was a graduate of Matewan High School. 

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his children, Acie Marcum and Baylee Marcum both of Williamson; a brother, Joey Marcum (Selina Evans) of Williamson; a sister, Tiffany Blankenship (Teesha Mullins) of Delbarton; his maternal grandmother, Sue Phillips of Matewan; uncles, Rex Marcum (Tina), Chris Marcum, and Avery Marcum; aunts, Lorraine Marcum (Frankie), Effie Cochran (Billy, Vickie Faison (Brett), and Tammy Taylor (Norman); cousins, Terry Anderson (Jason), Michael Marcum (Jessica), Bobby Williamson (Samantha), Christopher Marcum (Leah), Brittany Marcum (Arvel), Austin Marcum (Marlanea), Misty Rhoades, Johnathan Marcum, Jarod Marcum (Ashley), Justin Marcum (Megan), Jackie Marcum, Steven Marcum, Scotty Marcum (Rosy), Angie Maynard (Mike), Jessica Gee, Daniel Marcum, Robert Marcum, William Cochran (Ashley), Newman Cochran, Sam Cochran, and Brooklyn Barnett.  Also surviving is a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday; March 1, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY.  Burial will follow in the Marcum Cemetery at Chattaroy, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers. 

Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Saturday evening at the funeral home.
