Benjamin Cam Willis, born April 11, 1972, age 53 of Naugatuck, WV, passed away Wednesday; January 21, 2026 at the Pikeville Medical Center due to cardiac arrest. Benjamin’s wishes of donating his organs will be followed and beneficial to many other lives.
Benjamin was born in Williamson, WV and raised deep in the holler of Naugatuck, WV. While his heart may have failed him, he had a big heart full of love, crying many times when others were hurting. His hobbies consisted of cutting timber, woodworking, fishing, and spending time with his dad and family. Benjamin had much pride in his kids and grandkids and loved them unconditionally and knew they will continue to make him proud.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth (Marion) Hitchcock, Don (Ferbie) Willis, brother-in-law, Carl Diamond, granddaughter, Hailey Willis, and a host of aunts and uncles.
He leaves behind many surviving families affected by his life, including his parents, Donald and Brenda Willis, his wife of 30 years, Melissa Willis, his children, Lisa Kay (Mathew) Toppings, Nichole Willis (Matt), and Michael Willis, his siblings, Donna (Darrel) White, Katherine Jaree (Roger) Wilcox, Brent Willis, and Emmaleah (Billy) Bush, his grandchildren, Alexis and AJ Maynard, Brenda Jean and Gregory Toppings, and Anastasia Willis, his nieces and nephews, Kimberly (Trey) Dotson, Carl (Cieara) Diamond, Justin (Ashley) Willis, Harley Willis, Amanda Jarvis, Donovan Willis, Karra Willis, and a multitude of great nieces, great nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday; January 23, 2026 at 12:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with Bro. Earl White officiating. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Vernatter Branch; Naugatuck, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Family and friends will gather beginning at 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home.
