James Thomas "Tommy" Mounts

James Thomas “Tommy” Mounts, 71, of Toler, KY passed away Saturday; January 24, 2026 at his home.  Born June 23, 1954 in Matewan, WV, he was the son of the late Obera “Billie” Mounts Justice and the late Raymond Perkins. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Everett Justice, a sister, Darlene Wells, and five brothers, Raymond Mounts, Roger Mounts, Joe Mounts, Gary Mounts, and Ricky Justice. 

Tommy was a former auto repairman and retired from AT&T with over 20 years of service. 

Survivors include two sisters, Vickey (Michael) Lockard of Toler, KY and Sandy Ladd of Hendersonville, TN, a special nephew with whom he made his home, Mikey (Sarah) Lockard of Toler, KY, and a host of other family and friends.
